Welcome to the 1997 6 Days of Swiss Orienteering. They are held in the western part of Switzerland, in interesting prealpine areas.

The first three days will take place near the Lake of Thun, where you can take a refreshing bath after the competitions. Three different prealpine areas on new maps are waiting for you.

The second part will be held near Fribourg, where the short distance world champion Marie-Luce Romanens comes from. Come and look in what kind of terrains world champions are born!
