Travel

Travel option A Travel with the bus over the San Bernardino Pass to Reichenau-Tamins. Here the world known Glacier Express waits. The captivating Rhine ravine is seen directly after departure. Later drive over the Oberalppass, with marvelous views of the Urseren Valley. After the Furkatunnel (the longest narrow gage rail in the world) the trip continues through the lovely Valais high valley, the Goms, before reaching Brig.

Travel option B Individual travel using owm vehicle.

Excursion / individual athletic activity

Brigerbad (Day 5 or 6) 5 minutes from Brig are the special thermal baths of "Brigerbad". The first thermal grotto swimming area in Europe (40-42°). The bathing areas, with 4 different temperatures, is inviting for bathing and recuperation. Completing the offering is the water massage - the largest in Switzerland - and the thermal river bath. There is something for both the young and old.

Museums / Highlights

Stockalper castle (constructed 1658-1678) (Day 5 or 6) built by Jodok of Stockalper. In this, the largest of Swiss palaces, many different architectural motives are united. Jodok Stockalper brought to Wallis many lasting memories with his other buildings (such as the Jesuit church and college in Brig).
