Travel option A
Luzern is reached in 90 minutes. The Chapel Bridge and the Old Town are walking distance from the
station. A final high point of the journey begins beside the railway station - a steam boat trip on
the deep blue Lake Lucerne. From Brunnen the train trip is almost too short to properly say farewell
to a marvelous travel week! |

Museums / Highlights
Chapel Bridge and water tower
The covered timber bridge was built around 1300 and is the world known landmark of the city
of Lucerne; the gabel paintings originated in the 17. Century. After a fire the bridge was
completely reconstructed |

Culture and Congress Center
East of the station at the lake is the new Culture and Congress Center of Lucerne, designed by
Paris architect Jean Nouvel. The impressive, elegantly constructed roof unites the concert hall,
congress area and art museum. |

Old Town
the historical part of town is enjoyable for shopping and strolling. |
