Lugano

Lugano is the city of the parks and flowers, mansions and sacred buildings. With its Mediterranen flair Lugano offers all the advantages of a city and at the same time the feel of a little town. It's reputation as a cultural center owes primarily to the high standard of its exhibitions, which are organized regularly in the city and regional museums.

Orienteering

Stage 2: Regional O event in Lugano The Orienteering Competition, where chestnut trees populate the forest and small Ticino villages create the backdrop, is a special experience.

Excursion with travel guide

Half day trip to Monte Generoso (1701 m) (only Day 4) With the train or bus to Capolago (20 minutes), from there with a mountain train within 40 minutes to the Monte Generoso and it's great views (with a clear view as far as Milano). Possibility for a visit to the observatory and a little hike. Return to Lugano.
