To Competition centre: 1800 m, 70m climb Busstop to competition centre: 400 m ZVB Haltestelle 'Spinnerei': 1600 m, 60 m climb Competition center to start 1 & 2: 3000m, 280 m climb Competition center to start 3: 2700m, 225 m climb Arrival using public transportation: See 'Public transport to the stages'  Terrain description Type of terrain: Pre-alpine hill chain, running from north to south, 750 to 1200m above sea level Area structure: Steep slopes with deep valleys and ditches containing some contour-related features and rocks. Rather flat panes with few details, some sectors with drainage ditches. Internal climb differences of 50 to 150m. Vegetation: Mixed-type forest: mostly spruce, some deciduous trees. Changing from undergrowth or dense vegetation (blackberry, grass) to almost vegetation-free soil. Some patches with storm damage. Runnability: Mostly average, sometimes also very poor. Visibility: Mostly quite good. Trails: Some forest trails and paths.
